    • Install, service and repairs environmental-control systems where required by contract utilizing knowledge of heating / refrigeration theory, pipefitting and structural layout.
    • Mount compressors and condenser units on platform or floor using hand tools following blueprints or engineering specifications.
    • Installs evaporator unit in chassis or in an air duct system using hand tools.
    • Cut and bend tubing to correct length and shape using cutting and bending equipment and tools.
    • Join tubing or pipes to various heating and refrigerating units by means of sleeves, couplings or unions and solder joints to form complete circuits for heating and refrigerant mediums.
    • Install expansion and discharge valves.
    • Connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls and circulating ventilation fans to control panels, and connect control panels to power source.
    • Install air and water filters.
    • Inject small amount of refrigerant into compressors to test system and add Freon gas to ensure prescribed operating pressure.
    • Observe pressure and vacuum gauges and adjust controls to insure proper operation.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED and 4 or more years of related experience in field or equivalent combination of education and experience in field

  • Perform installation of HVAC related equipment following company policies and manufacturer’s specifications
  • Carry out wiring of both low and line voltage wiring for cooling and heating equipment
  • Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing
  • Perform installation of flexible and duct board duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings
  • Ensure connection of gas lines to heating equipment is properly done
  • Determine the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobs
  • Receive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm and load them into company vehicle
  • Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time as instructed by management

QUALIFICATIONS:
